Myron Green served as Sheriff of Oconee County from 1972 until 1980.

Sheriff Green and deputies bust up a still, which was discovered near the Cross Roads Community. Estimated gallons was 3000-5000. The small boy is Sheriff Green's son. May 1973

Sheriff's deputies bust up a still discovered near the Cross Roads Community. It was estimated the still's capacity was between 3000-5000 gallons. May 1973

Armed robbery suspects Michael Bean and Laura Sweet are escorted from the courthouse by Sheriff Green, Lewis Glenn and Neal Brown. The suspects robbed the Shelltown Truck Stop near Fair Play.
