Citizens Police Academy Application

**All applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Due to the sensitivity and classified nature of the material that will be shared with you during the Citizen's Police Academy, it is essential that each applicant complete the CPA application thoroughly and truthfully.  It is imperative to the security of our agency that each accepted applicant is of good moral and legal standing. The application must be completed in totality.  All questions must be answered, if applicable.  If not, indicate N/A (not applicable) in the answer space.   If the space provided is not sufficient for your complete answer, or if you wish to furnish additional information, please do so on a separate piece of paper.  The additional information can be mailed to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office to the attention of Citizen's Police Academy at 415 S. Pine St. Walhalla, SC 29691.  You can also drop off your additional answers or completed printed application in person to the Sheriff's Office located at 300 S. Church St. Walhalla, SC 29691.  If submitting additional information by mail or in person please indicate in the associated answer field for the online application that you are doing so.  That way we will know to be looking for your response.  All information you provide in this application will remain confidential.  If you have any questions feel free to contact a representative at (864) 638-4122.  By checking "Yes" below you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to these terms prior to starting your application.
