1. You are stating the two contact individuals listed will be on scene during the duration of the gathering;
2. Both individuals will be sober during the time of the gathering
3. Both individuals will be available by phone if needed by law enforcement responders.
What happens if the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office receives a complaint that concerns your gathering?

We may attempt to contact one of the individuals listed on the submitted form to provide an opportunity to resolve the complaint without law enforcement intervention. However, contacting a listed individual is not guaranteed.

If we receive multiple calls for service, we may attempt to contact one of the individuals listed on the submitted form. However, we cannot guarantee that contact will be made prior to law enforcement intervention.
What happens if Oconee County Sheriff’s Office receive a second complaint or more concerning your gathering?
1.We will respond and attempt to meet with one of the listed contacts to take care of the complaint.
Submission of this form:
1. In no way relieves the host person or group from their responsibility to act as a responsible host.
2. The host person or group is still responsible for:
a. Monitoring the noise
b. The age of those consuming alcoholic beverages
c. Parking
d. Making sure the people attending stay on the property of the location where the gathering is being held.
