Extra Patrol Request

To request an Extra Patrol for your property or business, please contact our Dispatch Center at 864-638-4111.

What is an "Extra Patrol Request"?

An Extra Patrol Request is when a property owner (or designated caretaker) asks the Sheriff's Office to conduct random checks on their property as deputies are available.  This helps to deter criminal activity and provide comfort for the property owner.

People commonly ask the Sheriff's Office to periodically check their properties while on vacation and other times throughout the year.  By requesting extra patrols, the requestor grants the Oconee County Sheriff's Office permission to enter the property for the purposes of conducting extra patrols.

**In order to request an Extra Patrol, the requestor MUST have the legal authority to do so (i.e. property owner, designated caretaker, person responsible for the property, etc.)**
