What is an "Extra Patrol Request"? 

An Extra Patrol Request is when a property owner asks the Sheriff's Office to conduct random checks on their property as deputies are available.  This helps to deter criminal activity, and provide comfort for the property owner.  

People commonly ask the Sheriff's Office to periodically check their properties while on vacation and other times throughout the year.

**Extra Patrol Requests are valid for up to 30 days from the date of the start date. For extended durations, please contact the Uniform Patrol Bureau at 864-638-4111 to speak with a supervisor.**

AUTHORIZATION AND ATTESTATION

I certify that I am the legal owner / manager / appointed representative of the aforementioned property and have the legal authority to request the Oconee County Sheriff's Office to conduct extra patrols of said property. I further give the Oconee County Sheriff's Office permission to enter the property listed above for the purposes of extra patrols and authorize the Sheriff's Office to contact me regarding this property.
