Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Locating Missing Teenager

(Walhalla, SC)-----------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help this morning in locating a missing Newry teenager who has ran away from her home.


16 year old Haley Gayle Grant Watts was discovered missing by her family, from her home on Palmetto Avenue, late yesterday evening at around 10:30pm.


Haley was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt that has a tie-dye design on the elbows, brown sweatpants with a tie-dye design on the side of each leg and brownish-black Vans shoes.


Haley has black hair that is blonde at the roots and a tattoo on her leg middle finger. Haley is 5’7” tall, weighs 160 pounds and has blue eyes.


Haley’s information has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.


A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division, who responded to the home, contacted the on-call Missing Persons Investigator, who responded to the home to speak with the family. The Investigator has been following up on leads in regards to Haley’s whereabouts this morning.
