Graphic Designs for OCSO
One of the most recent challenges that "Studio 51" has undertaken is handling the graphic design for the entire agency! This may seem like something simple, since we already have a badge and patch, but this is actually a giant undertaking!
Graphic design at the Sheriff's Office is a team effort. There are several deputies who, in addition to their regular assigned duties, volunteer to assist with developing, refining, and producing all of our digital graphics. This includes not just our badge and patches, but also things like social media graphics, logo updates, and much more!
Our Work is Our Passion
The graphic design team loves their job! We are always working to think outside of the box, breathe new life into existing graphics, and come up with new designs all the time. While some of this work happens "on the clock", the vast majority of the work is voluntary and done "off the clock" when our team members have time to focus and put their creative minds in high gear!
Using a variety of low-cost and free software suites, our team produces everything from 2D raster images, vector images, and are starting to get into 3D image design and animation (we are still learning this one). We take pride in our work, not only as employees of the Sheriff's Office and our "normal" jobs, but also as artists working behind the scenes to give law enforcement a visual representation that is both inspiring, meaningful, and elegant.
