Our Daily Rest - Seneca
Our Daily Rest is a registered non-profit, dedicated to improving the lives of homeless people by providing comprehensive case management, counseling services, employment , and mentorship in a safe home atmosphere so they are able to get back on their feet. Our Daily Rest provides homeless assessments to anyone that is experiencing homelessness that allows us to see what assistance we can provide at no cost to the individual.

Safe Harbor
Safe Harbor offers shelter and advocacy services to survivors of domestic abuse and their dependent children up to 17 years of age. We have shelter locations in Anderson, Greenville, and Oconee Counties.
Like all of our programs, our emergency shelter services are free and confidential. We strive to offer a welcoming and safe community living environment, and we are here to support you.

Mary's House
MARYS House provides emergency safe shelter for families who are victims of domestic violence. While providing a safe place to stay we also provide food, clothing, personal hygiene items, counseling, resources and referrals according to individual needs. During the stay at our shelter, each client works with our professional staff to identify needs and set goals. Clients receive individual and group counseling, case management, referrals, advocacy, and all basic living necessities during their shelter stay. Follow-up support is available and encouraged for clients who have completed their stay. All services are free of charge for victims and their children.
We serve Pickens County, the Upstate and anyone who is in need of a safe refuge. We aim to provide clients the tools they need to make the permanent changes necessary for a life without domestic violence. We also provide emotional support, with counseling and conversations with other victims.

Ride To Work Ministry
Ride To Work provides rides ONLY to and from work in Oconee County, South Carolina, primarily within the Seneca, Westminster and Walhalla area. Ride support is limited by schedule availability, and each application is considered on a case-by-case basis. It typically takes at least 48 hours before a first ride can be provided once an application is accepted.

Veterans Services
South Carolina Department of Veteran Affairs
As an advocate for veterans and their families, the Oconee County Veterans Affairs office (a local office of the South Carolina Department of Veteran Affairs) assists veterans and/or their dependents in filing applications to obtain benefits for which they may be entitled to from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and VA Hospitals. Our office also provides transportation to the Greenville VA Medical Center for those Veterans without available transportation. We also provide Notary services

SC Works
Finding a meaningful civilian career may feel overwhelming. Our SC Works centers across the state have staff, many of whom are veterans or service members themselves, who are specifically trained to assist military jobseekers find civilian employment. Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) representatives provide intensive case management services to targeted veterans with emphasis in meeting the employment needs of veterans who are economically or educationally disadvantaged.
Veterans not only receive priority service in our SC Works Centers, but also through SC Works Online Services (SCWOS). For the first 24 hours that a job is listed on SCWOS, only jobseekers that have identified themselves as a member of the military community can view and apply for the position.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
DAV is dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. Youth Services & Resources
Fair Play Camp School
Fair Play Camp School, Inc. is located in upstate South Carolina. With over 500 acres, the outdoor setting provides countless opportunities to teach, explore, experience adventure and promote a sense of well-being and tranquility through outdoor therapy.
Camp is for boys, ages 8 to 15, who are experiencing behavior/emotional problems and agree to placement because of a desire to change. They live in one of the four campsites which is home to ten boys and two counselors, who are called “chiefs.” The average length of stay is 18 months. The combination of mentoring by a chief and positive peer pressure from a group leaves a lifelong impact on a boy. The structure of camp provides a safe place for a boy to begin to put his life together.

Wilderness Way Girls' Camp
Wilderness Way Girls’ Camp, located in the Upstate of South Carolina, seeks to help girls who are struggling in their families, schools, and communities. Past hurts and sometimes current instability have caused these girls to doubt themselves, distrust adults, act out, and question God’s concern for them. Within the camp setting, girls experience success in life skills and relationships.

The Way Youth Center
The Way Youth Center was started in 2019 and is located in the center of Utica, SC. It was founded because we saw the need for a new hope and change in our neighborhood. Many of our teens come from broken homes and face many challenges as they navigate high school and the real world outside of it.
We exist to provide our neighborhood with the hope of Jesus Christ. We do this by providing a safe space for our teens to be themselves and learn about the message of hope in the Gospel.

Palmetto Youth Connections
Palmetto Youth Connections (PYC) is a community partnership administered by Eckerd Workforce Development Services that focuses on serving out-of-school youth ages 17-24 years old throughout South Carolina. The private company provides case management, counseling, training, career pathway development and employment services for out-of-school youth. PYC offers supportive services to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth participants in the form of course/training costs, transportation assistance, childcare, tools, uniforms, books and monetary incentives for goal completion
Through this program, students earn a high school diploma or GED from Adult Education Centers in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens Counties or students may enter this program with a high school diploma. PYC prepares students to enter post secondary education, work based training, and provides occupational skills training to assist with career pathway development and job placement.
