The Oconee County Sheriff's Office provides presentations on a number of topics related to law enforcement in our county. Ranging from Active Attack / Workplace Violence Awareness, to Financial Crime Awareness and Prevention, Homeless Concerns to General Safety and Outreach Programs, we offer a variety of topics that are available.

Presentations We Currently Offer
Active Attack / Workplace Violence Awareness
Formerly called "Active Shooter", this presentation addresses Active Attacks of Violence in Houses of Worship, Business, Schools, and Public Places.
We discuss current trends, statistics, prevention methods, and how to preplan for Active Attack / Workplace Violence situations.
Financial Crimes Prevention
Financial Crimes are complicated, but easy to prevent. This presentation educates our citizens with the goal of reducing the chances of becoming a victim of Scams and Fraud.
Included are numerous handouts and educational materials participants can take with them for reference when they need it most!
Boating and Lake Patrol
Provided by seasoned members of our Marine Unit, we offer a presentation that covers boating safety, laws, and citizen concerns.

Homeless Concerns
Learn more about how the Sheriff's Office address concerns with the homeless population in our community. We address concerns from citizens, as well as how deputies assist the homeless.
