$1,000 Reward Being Offered for Information on Whereabouts of Missing Salem Woman

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today that a $1,000.00 reward is being offered for information on the whereabouts of a missing Salem woman.


$500.00 of the reward money is being offered by the family of 33 year old Tonya Marie Cannon, who was reported missing by a family member on February 11th of this year. The family member told deputies, on the day that she was reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office, that the last time that Tonya was seen was at her residence, located on Cannon Road, at 1:30pm on Monday, February 6th, 2023.


The remaining $500.00 of reward money is being offered by Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. Anyone who has any information on Tonya’s whereabouts can submit a tip online with Crimestoppers, where you do not have to give your name, at oconeesccrimestoppers.com. You must submit a tip with the correct whereabouts of Tonya in order to be considered for the reward money being offered.


According to a release issued by the Sheriff’s Office on February 13th of this year, Tonya was last seen wearing black spandex pants and a light colored shirt. Tonya has short brown hair and a rose tattoo on one of her shoulders. Tonya does have some health related issues.


The Missing Person’s Unit has been searching for Tonya since she was reported missing and following up on any leads. The Unit issued a flyer on February 17th as the Sheriff’s Office continued to seek the public’s assistance in locating Tonya.
