(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is reminding those, who may have an interest in a career in law enforcement, that the inaugural OCSO Career Fair is scheduled for this Thursday, August 19th at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla.
The Career Fair is scheduled from 10am until 2pm at the LEC, which is located at 300 S. Church Street in Walhalla.
Those who are interested in applying for available positions at the Sheriff’s Office will have an opportunity to fill out applications on site Thursday and they are encouraged to bring their resumes as well. Plus, the applicants will have an opportunity to take a tour of the Law Enforcement Center as well.
Also on display on Thursday will be some of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office equipment, including the Mobile Command Center, the Marine Unit, a body worn camera, a drone and much more.
