Arrest Warrants Served on Seneca Man in Regards to Two Burglary Investigations

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------Arrests warrants obtained by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, due to two separate burglary investigations, were served on a Seneca man after his arrest by an officer from the Seneca Police Department.


40 year old Ismael Rodriguez Siens, of Hollydale Drive, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 5:46am Monday morning. At this time, Siens remains in jail. Bond was denied on the Sheriff’s Office charges against Siens and he will appear before a Circuit Court, at a later time, regarding bond for those charges.


Siens was charged by the Sheriff’s Office with two counts each of First Degree Burglary, Petit Larceny and Malicious Injury to Property. The arrest warrants were obtained by an Investigator from the Criminal Investigations Bureau after investigations into two separate incidents that occurred late in 2022 at Lake Keowee Marina.


In the first incident, which occurred on November 11th of last year, Siens is accused of breaking into a house boat during the nighttime hours, causing damage to a door, and stealing two bottles of liquor, valued at $35.


In the second incident, which occurred on December 22nd of last year, Siens broke into the same house boat during the nighttime hours, causing damage to a door, and stealing two bottles of liquor, valued at $35.


The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
