(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Crimestoppers of Oconee County and the Oconee Sheriff’s Foundation 2023 Golf Tournament, originally scheduled for Friday, May 12th, has been rescheduled for Monday, September 11th.

“Crimestoppers and the Sheriff’s Foundation are hosting this tournament to benefit the citizens, and law enforcement officers, of Oconee County,” says Helen Westmoreland, Crimestoppers of Oconee County Coordinator. “We believe that holding the tournament on September 11th is a way to pay honor all of the public safety officers, as well as all those, who gave their lives and served their citizens after the terrorists’ attacks of September 11th, 2001.”

The Tournament, which benefits both non-profit organizations, will be held at Oconee Country Club, located at 781 Richland Road, in Seneca. Registration begins at 8am with a shotgun start at 9am. The cost for a 4-man Captain’s Choice team is $500.

Lunch will be provided after the conclusion of the tournament, along with door prizes and giveaways. Players can purchase red tees and mulligans. Winning teams will be eligible for cash payouts.

Sponsorships (Platinum, Gold, and Silver) are available and the purchase of these sponsorships will include complimentary teams, hole signage, and recognition on the Crimestoppers of Oconee County website.

Individual hole sponsorships are available as well for $100 each.
