Knights of Columbus Council 6884 Donates Youth Winter Coats to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------This week, the Knight of Columbus, Council 6884, made a donation of Youth Winter Coats to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office as part of the national “Coats for Kids” program. 

 

The coats were purchased as part of local fundraising efforts.  The numbers of coats is divided evenly between boys and girls and are in child, youth and teen sizes.

 

The Sheriff’s Office will be distributing the coats next week on a first come, first serve basis at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla, located at 300 S. Church Street.  Those who are interested will need to stop by the Law Enforcement Center and ask either for Mikayla or Denise.

 

The distribution dates are Monday, November 25th, Tuesday, November 26th and Wednesday, November 27th from 3pm until 4:30pm each day.  The child that is receiving the coat must be present. 

 

“On behalf of the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office, we would like to thank the Knights of Columbus, Council 6884, for their continued partnership with us by providing coats to help children and teens stay warm this winter,” says Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.
