Knights of Columbus Council 6884 Donates Youth Winter Coats to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Knight of Columbus, Council 6884, recently made a donation of Youth Winter Coats to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office as part of the national “Coats for Kids” program. 

 

The coats were purchased as part of local fundraising efforts.  The numbers of coats is divided evenly between boys and girls and are in child, youth and teen sizes.  Quantities are limited in each size.

 

The Sheriff’s Office will be distributing the coats today on a first come, first serve basis at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla, located at 300 S. Church Street.  Those who are interested will need to stop by the Law Enforcement Center and ask either for Mikayla or Denise.

 

The distribution dates are from today, Tuesday, December 2nd thru Friday, December 12th, from 3pm until 4:30pm each day.  The child or children that are receiving the coat(s) must be present.

 

“On behalf of the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office, we would like to thank the Knights of Columbus, Council 6884, for their continued partnership each year with the Sheriff’s Office in providing coats to help children and teens stay warm this winter,” says Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.
