Missing Person’s Unit Asks for the Public’s Help in Search for Missing, Endangered Teenager

(UPDATE AS OF 1:32PM - FRIDAY, MARCH 20TH, 2026 - The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is happy to report that Grace Lynn Bartlett has been located and she is safe.) 


(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Missing Person’s Unit of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help today in locating a missing, endangered teenager. 

 

15 year old Grace Lynn Bartlett was reported missing by a family member early Thursday evening.  Grace left her home in the Waterford Community at around 6:30pm yesterday and may have received a ride when she left her home.  Investigators believe that Grace may be in the Seneca area.   

 

Grace is 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.  Grace has brown hair and black eyes.  According to the Missing Person’s Unit, Grace was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt, black leggings, black shoes and white socks.

 

The Sheriff’s Office posted information concerning Grace on our social media pages and our OCSO app yesterday evening after she was reported missing.  

 

The Missing Person’s Unit considers Grace to be endangered due to behavioral problems, as well as her age and the fact that she was not located during the overnight hours. 

 

The Missing Person’s Unit has been following up on any tips or leads in the search for Grace since yesterday evening.
