Missing Person’s Unit Continues Search for Teenager Reported Missing

(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Missing Person’s Unit of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a teenager who was reported missing almost two weeks ago.

 

Investigators assigned to the Unit have been following up on leads and gathering information in reference to 16 year old Cooper Bryant Crawford.  Investigators also continue to seek the public’s help in obtaining information that may lead to Cooper’s whereabouts.

 

According to news releases issued by the Sheriff’s Office on January 2nd and January 4th of this year, Cooper was reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning, January 2nd by a family member after leaving his home on West-Oak Highway near Townville.  At that time, Cooper’s direction of travel was unknown and his clothing description was unknown.

 

Cooper is approximately 5’11” tall and he weighs 170 pounds.  Cooper has dark brown hair and blue eyes.

 

The Missing Person’s Unit was notified.  The Missing Person’s Unit said that Cooper is an endangered teen due to a medical condition that requires him to take medication. 

 

Missing Person Unit Investigators have also been working with Agents from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division in reference to obtaining information on Cooper’s whereabouts. 

 

Information obtained by Investigators indicates that Cooper could be in the Charlotte and Gastonia areas of North Carolina.
