Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Additional Arrest in 2026 Drug Round-Up

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today an additional arrest in a 2026 drug round-up. 

 

    The Sheriff’s Office obtained 32 arrest warrants on 18 persons.  The arrest warrants were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office.  The narcotics purchased during the controlled buys were Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Prescription Medication. 

 

     As of 5pm today, 16 persons have been arrested so far or were already in jail at the Oconee County Detention Center and have been served their arrest warrants in direct relation to the drug round-up.  Here is the name of the additional person arrested:

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 3 counts 

Anderson was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 2:06pm on Friday, June 19th, 2026.  Anderson was transported from the Anderson County Detention Center to the Oconee County Detention Center.  Anderson was also served an arrest warrant from the Seneca Police Department.  At this time, Anderson remains in jail on a combined $110,000 surety bond.  A hold has also been placed on Anderson by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
