On February 20th of this year, a Deputy from the Uniform Patrol Bureau met with the victim, an adult female, on Highway 24 and observed a physical manifestation of injuries on the victim’s upper torso.

As the investigation commenced, the Deputy learned that English had assaulted the victim, made threats to kill the victim and held the victim against her will at an address on Thompson Lane near Westminster.  The suspect, identified as English, also left the residence with the victim’s vehicle, a Ford Ranger pickup, and a handgun.

The victim was able to leave the residence and go to another location in order to call law enforcement.  The victim was transported to the hospital by paramedics for treatment and evaluation.

According to the arrest warrants, English unlawfully confined the victim and assaulted the victim over the course of more than a week by choking her, beating her, holding a blow torch to her feet to intimidate her and presenting a gun and threatening to kill her.
