The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation Sunday morning after a Patrol Bureau Deputy made contact with the victim, an adult female.  The victim stated that late Saturday afternoon she had gone to Roper, Jr.’s residence on Lakeshore Lane, which is near the Tokeena Crossroads, in order to retrieve some items.

While at the residence, Roper, Jr. assaulted her, took her phone and keys, and prevented her from leaving or calling for help.  The Deputy observed a physical manifestation of injuries on the victim.
