(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------A Seneca man remains in jail today after his arrest yesterday on multiple charges, including a charge of First Degree Burglary.

25 year old Robert Lawrence Dagostaro, of Ames Street, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 6:07pm Tuesday.  In addition to the First Degree Burglary charge, Dagostaro was also charged in the same investigation with one count each of Use of Vehicle without the Owners Consent and Unlawful Entry into Enclosed Places.

The charges in relation to the Burglary investigation were obtained after a reported burglary at an address on Ames Street on February 28th of this year.  During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Dagostaro had entered the enclosed property and then the residence during the nighttime hours of February 27th without the consent of the owner and with the intent to commit a crime.  Dagostaro was also charged with taking a 2013 Toyota Corolla and leaving the residence without the consent of the owner.

Dagostaro was also charged by the Sheriff’s Office in relation to two other separate investigations.  In one of those investigations, Dagostaro was charged by a Property Crimes Investigator with the Criminal Investigations Bureau with Grand Larceny after he stole a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck from an address on Ames Street between February 23rd and February 24th of this year.

In the other separate investigations, Dagostaro was charged with one count of Use of Vehicle without Permission as he took and drove a 2005 Honda Civic without the consent of the owner back on March 2nd of this year.

During an initial appearance before a Judge, Dagostaro was denied bond on all charges with the exception of the Grand Larceny charge, in which Dagostaro received a $10,000 surety bond.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing all three investigations.
