Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Man on Trafficking in Fentanyl Charge

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------A Seneca man remains in jail today, pending a bond hearing, after his arrest Tuesday evening on multiple charges, including a charge of Trafficking in Fentanyl.

21 year old Tyler Lee Louidor was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 10:20pm.  Louidor has also been charged with two counts each of Public Disorderly Conduct and one count each of Breach of Peace and Possession of Contraband in a Detention Facility. 

A Deputy from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to Gail Court Apartments on Bountyland Road Tuesday evening in reference to a report of a Domestic Disturbance.  The Deputy met with an adult female and an adult male, identified as Louidor. 

The Deputy placed Louidor under arrest for Breach of Peace.  As Louidor was being escorted to the Deputy’s vehicle, he yelled and used profanity.  The Deputy told Louidor that he was being cited for Public Disorderly Conduct.

Louidor was transported to jail.  During a search of Louidor’s person as part of the booking process, a Detention Deputy located a quantity of Prescription Medication in a pocket of his pants. 

After leaving the Detention Center, the Deputy discovered located a small, clear plastic jar with a white lid in the prisoner compartment of his patrol vehicle that contained a quantity of narcotics.  The Deputy had searched the prisoner compartment of his vehicle when his shift began yesterday evening and did not locate any weapons or contraband.  No one had access to the prisoner compartment of the Deputy’s vehicle before or after Louidor had been inside, according to the Deputy.    

Based upon evidence obtained during the investigation, and after consultations with a Judge, arrest warrants were obtained against Louidor.  According to arrest warrants, approximately 9.3 grams of Fentanyl was seized.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
