Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Woman on Trafficking in Methamphetamine Charge
(Walhalla, SC)-----------------------------------A Seneca woman remains in jail today, on a $50,000 dollar surety bond, after her arrest last Friday morning on a charge of Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
37 year old Jennifer Julianne Crider was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center, on September 11th, at around 3:29am. Crider will be required to wear an electronic monitoring device, as a condition of bond, should she be released from jail.
Deputies assigned to the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to a business address on Richland Road, near Seneca, in reference to reports of a possible burglary in progress. After arriving on scene to begin an investigation, they observed an adult female, who was identified as Crider, sitting inside a storage unit.
The Deputies observed drug paraphernalia in the area where the female was sitting. During the course of the investigation, Deputies also discovered narcotics inside of a bag that was in the possession of Crider. Additional quantities of narcotics were also discovered inside of a fanny pack style bag that was located on Crider’s person.
Crider was placed under arrest and transported to jail. After a consultation with a Judge, an arrest warrant was obtained against Crider. Approximately 49.01 grams of Methamphetamine was seized by the Deputies.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
