Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Charges Easley Man with Two Counts of First Degree Burglary

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------An investigation into four separate incidents that occurred last month at the EPOCH apartment complex near Seneca has led to multiple charges being filed against an Easley teenager, which includes two counts of First Degree Burglary.


19 year old Romelo Tyquan Lydell Dillard was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at 2:36am this past Saturday. Dillard was also charged with five counts of Petit Larceny.


The four incidents were reported to the Sheriff’s Office during the first weekend of October 2021. The incidents occurred at locations on Reason Court and Imagine Court.


According to arrest warrants obtained by an investigator from the Criminal Investigations Division, Dillard is accused of stealing three separate IPhones from three separate victims on Reason Court.


Dillard is also accused in arrest warrants of entering an apartment at an address on Imagine Court during the nighttime hours and of stealing an IPhone from that address.


Arrest warrants also charge Dillard with entering a separate dwelling at Imagine Court during the nighttime hours and with stealing three Clemson autograph jerseys.


Dillard was given a combined $30,265.00 personal recognizance bond. Dillard will also be required to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of bond.
