Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Holds June 2023 Promotions Ceremony

(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office held a promotions ceremony on June 20th to honor and recognize an Animal Control Officer, two Uniform Patrol Deputy’s and a P.A.C.E. (Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement) Deputy who received promotions.


The following Animal Control Officer was recognized for a promotion:


Faith Cheek – Promoted to Vet Tech


The following Uniform Patrol Bureau Deputy’s were recognized for promotion:


Delta Shift:


David Carr – Promoted to Corporal


Joshua Entsminger – Promoted to Master Patrol Deputy


The following Special Operations Deputy was recognized for promotion:


Isaiah Yoder – Promoted to Corporal (P.A.C.E. Team – Environmental Services)


Also recognized during the ceremony was Deputy Brody Pitts for a Lifesaving Award


Also recognized was Sadie Wright, a rising Senior at Walhalla High School. Sadie donated books to the Oconee County Detention Center for the inmates housed there to read and enjoy. Sadie was presented with an Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Challenge Coin and a certificate by Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.
