Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Monday Evening Shooting on the Utica Mill Hill

(Walhalla, SC)-----------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Monday evening shooting that occurred on the Utica Mill Hill near Seneca.

Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau, along with Paramedics, were dispatched at around 8:17pm to a report of a teenager who had been shot on Goddard Avenue near Sirrine Street.  The patient was transported to the hospital by helicopter.  The teenager’s condition is unknown at this time.

Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Bureau were called to the scene and the scene is currently being processed by Investigators and the Crime Scene Unit.  At this time, no arrests have been made in the investigation. 

The investigation is in the early stages and further information will be released at the appropriate time.
