(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------An investigation by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office into the theft of $2,400 worth of fragrances from the Seneca area Ulta location on May 13th has led investigators to seek the public’s help in identifying an individual in relation to the case.

A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded last Thursday afternoon to the business location on Clemson Boulevard at Hartwell Village. The deputy learned from an employee of the business that a black female went to the fragrance section of the store, loaded a shopping cart with cologne and perfume and then left the store without paying for the merchandise.

Evidence obtained during the investigation determined that 25 fragrances were stolen. Due to the monetary amount of the fragrances that were taken, the case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.
