Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Locating Missing Teenage Girl

(UPDATE: The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is happy to report that Clare Nicole Lanning has been located and she is safe.)


(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating a missing teenage girl.

 

17 year old Clare Nicole Lanning was reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office late Wednesday evening.  Clare was last seen in the area of Brewer Road near Walhalla. 

 

Deputies do not have a clothing description for Clare but she may have been wearing red slide on shoes.  Clare is 5’7” tall and weighs around 135 pounds.  Clare has blue eyes and blond hair. 

 

Clare’s information has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.  The Missing Person’s Unit of the Sheriff’s Office was notified.

 

If you have any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Clare Nicole Lanning, you are asked to call 911 immediately.  Tips on Clare’s whereabouts can also be submitted to Crimestoppers, where you don’t have to give your name.
