Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Locating Seneca Man Wanted on Attempted Murder Charge

(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating a Seneca man who is wanted on multiple charges, including a charge of Attempted Murder.

 

22 year old Noah Brooks Brown of Seneca is also wanted on two counts of Attempted Armed Robbery, three counts of Pointing and Presenting a Firearm at a Person and Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime. 

 

The charges against Brown were obtained as a result of an investigation into a shots fired call that occurred early Monday morning near Townville.  According to information obtained during the investigation, Brown fired shots from a pistol into a vehicle that was occupied by three persons, one adult male and two adult females.

 

One of the rounds fired by Brown struck in the adult male, who was inside of the vehicle, in the leg.  The adult male was transported by paramedics to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. 

 

Brown is also charged with attempting to rob the victims inside of the vehicle as well as point the pistol he was brandishing at them.    

 

Brown has been known to frequent the Utica Mill Hill area near Seneca.  If you see Noah Brooks Brown, do not approach him and considered him to be armed and dangerous.
