Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Locating Wanted Suspect

(UPDATE: Investigators are reporting that Mr. Whitworth has been taken into custody at an address near Seneca within the last few minutes).

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating a wanted suspect with outstanding arrest warrants related to property crimes.

36 year old Clinton Trey Whitworth of Seneca is wanted on two counts of Second Degree Burglary and two counts of Petit Larceny in relation to two separate property crime investigations. The crimes occurred in the Seneca area earlier this month.

Investigators signed arrest warrants on Whitworth on September 15th as the result of evidence obtained during the investigations. Deputies have been following up on leads, since that time, in regards to locating Whitworth.
