(Walhalla, SC)-----------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in an ongoing burglary investigation at a Tokeena Crossroads business.

Investigators are also seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in the investigation.

Deputies assigned to the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to the Countryside #2 convenience store on West-Oak Highway, near Highway 59, during the early morning hours of Thursday, October 29th in reference to reports of a burglary and a larceny.  During the course of the investigation, evidence was obtained that showed a white male, wearing a grey hoodie, black athletic shorts, and neon green gloves, used an object to break the glass of a door at the front of the store and enter inside.

The white male is then seen taking items from the vape and Kratom section of the store.  The male walks out of the store, gets into a dark in color Jeep Grand Cherokee, and drives away in the direction of Townville.

Further investigation revealed that the same male was seen at the Countryside #1 convenience store, which is also located at the Tokeena Crossroads, earlier that same morning before arriving at the store where the burglary occurred.
