Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Property Crime Investigation



(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in an ongoing property crime investigation involving a theft of a trailer from The Farm Center campus.

 

A Property Crimes Investigator is also seeking assistance in identifying a person of interest and a vehicle of interest in relation to the crime.

 

On Monday morning, February 23rd, a Deputy from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to the Farm Center on the Highway 123 by-pass and made contact with the victim in reference to a report of a stolen Carry-On or Utility trailer. 

 

Based upon evidence obtained during the investigation, the trailer was stolen around 7:15am on Sunday, February 15th of this year by someone driving a dark in color full size pick-up truck. 

 

The trailer is 18 feet long and is valued at approximately $2,800.00. 

 

The case has been assigned to a Property Crimes Investigator with the Sheriff’s Office. 

 

If you have any information on the identity of the person of interest and/or the vehicle of interest, or were traveling on Highway 123 near the Farm Center between 7am and 7:15am on Sunday morning, February 15th and observed anything suspicious, submit an anonymous tip to Crimestosppers at 1-844-71-CRIME, online at 71crime.com or by downloading the free P3 app on your mobile device. 

 

You don’t have to give your name when you contact Crimestoppers.  If your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
