Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Stolen Boat Investigation

(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in an investigation into a boat that was stolen at the end of 2025.

 

On December 30th of last year, a Deputy from the Uniform Patrol Bureau spoke with the victim in reference to a boat that was stolen from a storage lot at the intersection of S. Friendship Road and Tavies Lane, which is located in the Friendship Community near Seneca.    

 

The boat is a 2020 Sea Pro model 208, which is 20 feet long and is ice blue in color.  The boat is valued at approximately $45,000.  Also stolen was Suzuki motor, which is white in color, and a silver 20 foot dual axle magic tilt trailer.  The trailer is valued at approximately $15,000. 

 

The investigation was assigned to an Investigator from the Property Crimes Unit of the Criminal Investigations Bureau.  Based upon evidence obtained so far in the investigation, the Investigator believes the boat was stolen after December 7th of last year. 

 

Information concerning the boat, motor and trailer has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.
