Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Stolen Trailer Investigation


(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in an investigation into a trailer that was reported stolen in December of 2025. 

 

On December 21st of last year, a Deputy from the Uniform Patrol Bureau spoke with an employee of a business who reported that a black 30 foot Triple R Goose Neck Trailer had been stolen from a location in Longcreek.  The trailer has a wooden floor and an aluminum box at the hook-up end of the trailer.

 

The trailer was last seen at around 5:30pm on the afternoon of December 20th, 2025 and was discovered missing by the employee at around 6:45am on December 21st of last year.  The trailer was valued at approximately $36,000 at the time of purchase.   

 

The investigation was assigned to an Investigator from the Property Crimes Unit of the Criminal Investigations Bureau.  Further investigation has revealed that there was over $100,000 worth of materials on the trailer when it was stolen, which include rolls of fiber cable.

 

The trailer’s information has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.
