3rd Annual Oconee Night Out Scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The 3rd Annual Oconee Night Out has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th. 

 

On that day, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office will join with other Oconee County law enforcement and public safety agencies at The F.A.R.M. Center, which is located at 2063 Sandifer Boulevard, for this year’s event which will be held from 5pm until 7pm. 

 

The public safety agencies that are scheduled to participate include: Oconee County Emergency Services, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, Prisma Health Ambulance Service (EMS), the Salem Police Department, the Seneca Fire Department, the Seneca Police Department, the Seneca Rescue Squad, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the Walhalla Police Department, the Westminster Police Department and the West Union Police Department. 

 

“On behalf of all the participating agencies, I invite everyone to come out and join us on October 6th for Oconee Night Out,” says Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.  “This year, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Cook Team will be preparing the meal so make plans to join us for some great food and fellowship.  Employees from the participating agencies, as well as some of the equipment that their respective agencies use will also be on display.  Oconee Night Out is a great opportunity for everyone to meet and continue to forge those important relationships.”

 

Non-profit organizations will have tables and tents set up in order to share with the community their mission and the services that they offer.
