Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Additional Arrest in Previous 2024 Drug Round-Up

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today an additional arrest in a previous 2024 drug round-up. 

 

Arrest warrants in the previous 2024 round-up were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office.  Among the narcotics purchased during the controlled buys were Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Morphine and Prescription Medication. 

 

Here is the name of the latest person arrested: 

 

· Brian Keith Wilder, Jr. 

33 years old

Gammell Street/Doyle Drive - Seneca, SC

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 2 counts

Wilder, Jr. was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Thursday, November 4th, 2025 at 2:56am.  Wilder, Jr. was taken into custody earlier this morning after a traffic stop near Seneca.  Wilder, Jr. was given a combined $25,000 surety bond.  At this time, Wilder, Jr. remains in jail.  Wilder, Jr. will have to wear an electronic monitoring device, as a condition of bond, should he be released from jail. 

 

With Wilder, Jr.’s arrest, a total of 27 persons have been arrested or were already in jail and have been served their arrest warrants in relation to this previous 2024 round-up.
