(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------A Fair Play woman remains in jail today after her arrest over the weekend on multiple charges, including a charge of First Degree Burglary.

47 year old Jaime Vanessa Galbreath, who has listed addresses on Bratton Road and Wooten Road, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 11:14pm Saturday, February 1st.  Galbreath was also charged two counts of Malicious Injury to Property and was also issued a citation for Trespassing.

Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to a separate address on Bratton Road this past Saturday evening in reference to reports of a burglary.  After arriving on scene, Deputies spoke with the property owner, an adult male, who stated that Galbreath had broken into his residence.

Deputies also confirmed that Galbreath was on trespass notice from the residence.  The homeowner stated to Deputies that Galbreath had kicked a door in of the home, entered inside and was still on scene.  Deputies located Galbreath on the floor inside of the residence, yelling and drinking a bottle of wine.

Galbreath was placed under arrest and transported to jail.  Galbreath received a combined $31,910.00 surety on all her charges.

According to the arrest warrants obtained, Galbreath entered the home during the nighttime hours without consent, kicked in the front door of the home, which caused damage to the door.  Arrest warrants also state that Galbreath caused damage inside of the home by pouring an unknown liquid onto the floor of the home and knocked items off of the shelves, breaking them.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
