Kenneth Allen Shepherd
(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Seneca man yesterday on charges of Disseminating Harmful Material to a Minor and Criminal Solicitation of a Minor.
41 year old Kenneth Allen Shepherd was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 7:45pm Tuesday by a deputy from the Warrants Division. At this time, Shepherd remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $20,000 surety bond.
An Investigator from the Criminal Investigations Division received information on February 22nd regarding Shepherd making contact online with someone whom he believed to be a teenager, to whom Shepherd had sent an explicit picture and to whom he tried to solicit for sex.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
