Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Locating Missing Salem Woman

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating a missing Salem woman.


A family member reported 33 year old Tonya Marie Cannon missing over the weekend. The family member reported that Tonya was last seen at her residence, on Cannon Road, last Monday, February 6th, at around 1:30pm.


Tonya was last seen wearing black spandex pants and a light colored shirt. Tonya has short brown hair and a rose tattoo on one of her shoulders.


Tonya is 5’3” tall, weighs 130 pounds and has green eyes.


Tonya does have some health related concerns and may be in need of her medication, according to Investigators.


Tonya’s information was entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.


The Missing Person’s Unit of the Criminal Investigations Bureau was notified and deputies and Investigators have been searching for Tonya since she was reported missing.


There are reports that Tonya may have been seen on Tilson Farm Road near Tamassee early last week as well as along Main Street in Walhalla over the weekend.
