OCSO Releases Updated Information Regarding Search for Missing Walhalla Teen

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is releasing updated information today in regards to a search for a missing Walhalla teenager.

The Sheriff’s Office issued a release yesterday seeking the public’s help in locating 13 year old Ariel Ray Underwood. Ariel left her home on Goat Road sometime between 10pm on May 4th and 7am on May 5th. Family members reported Arial missing to the Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday morning.

The family did not have a clothing description for Ariel during the time when she left the house. Ariel is 5’2” tall, weighs 128 pounds and has black hair and hazel eyes. Ariel’s information has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.

Deputies and investigators have been working on leads and speaking with family members and others in regards to locating Ariel. According to yesterday’s release, investigators believed that Ariel could be in the company of her boyfriend and an adult, possibly in a silver four door small sedan, maybe a Ford Fusion. The release also stated that investigators believed that Ariel could possibly be in the Atlanta Metro area and law enforcement officials there have been contacted by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators have obtained new information this morning that Ariel and her boyfriend, 15 year old Bryson Joe Perry, along with other individuals, may be in a 10 foot U-Haul Box Truck that was rented on Tuesday, May 4th from a business in Decatur, GA. The truck has an Arizona tag of AE94029 and a truck number of TM1523H.

Bryson Joe Perry has also been listed as missing by the Westminster (SC) Police Department in the National Crimes Information Center database since he was last seen in their jurisdiction. Bryson is 5’4” tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
