Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Locating Wanted Subject

(UPDATE: Nicolas Sabastian Palmero was arrested in Seneca and taken into custody, today, Wednesday, May 15th, 2024).


(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating a Seneca man wanted on a charge of Discharging a Firearm into a Dwelling.

 

22 year old Nicolas Sabastian Palmero is wanted in relation to an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on Sirrine Street, which is located on the Utica Mill Hill, back on Friday, April 19th.

 

Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to the location of the shooting that evening and discovered evidence of multiple shots being fired from a vehicle at a residence on Sirrine Street.  An Investigator from the Criminal Investigations Bureau responded to the scene and continued the investigation and the gathering of evidence. 

 

Palmero is the second man charged in the shooting investigation.  Back on Thursday, April 25th, 22 year old Standestin Lamar Earl of Seneca was arrested on a charge of Discharging a Firearm into a Dwelling in relation to the incident. 

 

Earl was arrested during the execution of a search warrant last Thursday morning at an apartment complex on S. Oak Street in Seneca in regards to the ongoing investigation.  The search warrant was obtained by Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Bureau.

 

During the execution of the search warrant, Investigators seized a quantity of Alprazolam, Tramadol, MDMA (Ecstasy) and Marijuana from a bedroom that belonged to Earl inside of an apartment.

 

Based upon evidence obtained during the execution of the search warrant, Earl was charged additionally with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count each of Possession with Intent to Distributed MDMA (Ecstasy) and Possession of Marijuana.
