2nd Annual Oconee Night Out Scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The 2nd Annual Oconee Night Out has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th

 

On that day, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office will join with other Oconee County law enforcement and public safety agencies at the Farm Center, which is located at 2063 Sandifer Boulevard, for this year’s event which will be held from 6pm until 8pm. 

 

The participating agencies include Oconee County Emergency Services, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, Prisma Health Ambulance Service (EMS), the Salem Police Department, the Seneca Fire Department, the Seneca Police Department, the Seneca Rescue Squad, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the Walhalla Police Department, the Westminster Police Department and the West Union Police Department. 

 

“On behalf of all the agencies who will be attending Oconee Night Out, I invite everyone to come out and join us on August 26th,” says Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.  “We enjoyed seeing everyone last year and hope for an even bigger turnout this year.  The Cook Team from the Seneca Police Department will be preparing the meal this year and I encourage everyone to come out for some great food and to meet all the public safety agencies and officers.”

 

Non-profit organizations will have tables and tents set up in order to share with the community their mission and the services that they offer.
