Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Additional Arrest in Previous 2024 Drug Round-Up

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today an additional arrest in a previous 2024 drug round-up. 

 

    Arrest warrants in the previous 2024 round-up were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office.  Among the narcotics purchased during the controlled purchases were Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Morphine and Prescription Medication. 

 

     Here is the name of the latest person arrested: 

 

· Crystal Renee Bryson 

53 years old

Popham Drive – Walhalla, SC

Distribution of Fentanyl – 2 counts

Bryson was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 1:53pm on Friday, April 2nd after being transported from the Buncombe County Detention Center, in Asheville, NC, to Oconee County by Deputies assigned to the Warrants Unit.  At this time, Bryson remains in jail pending a bond hearing. 

 

     With Bryson’s arrest, a total of 28 persons have been arrested or were already in jail and have been served their arrest warrants in relation to this previous 2024 round-up.
