Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Beginning of Drug Round - Up

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today the start of a current drug round-up. The Sheriff’s Office began the operation yesterday morning, Thursday, April 9th.
The Sheriff’s Office obtained 27 arrest warrants on 18 persons. The arrest warrants were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office. The narcotics purchased during the controlled buys were Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Prescription Medication.
As of 11am today, eight persons have been arrested so far or were already in jail at the Oconee County Detention Center and have been served their arrest warrants in direct relation to the drug round-up. The names of those eight persons are as follows:
Craig Leroy Warren
Corn Mill Drive, Westminster, SC
48 years old
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 3 counts
Warren was arrested on November 15th, 2025 and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center charges unrelated to the drug round-up. At this time, Warren remains in jail. Warren received a combined $75,000 surety bond on the three arrest warrants related to the drug round-up.
Casey Wayne Holt
29 years old
Lee Pine Drive, Westminster, SC
Distribution in Methamphetamine – 3 counts
Holt was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on March 21st, 2026 on charges unrelated to the current drug round-up. At this time, Holt remains in jail. Holt was given a combined $45,000 surety bond the three arrest warrants related to the drug round-up.
Joshua Eli Chapman
Manley Farm Road, Walhalla, SC
37 years old
Distribution of Prescription Medication – 2 counts
Chapman was arrested on April 9th, 2026 and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 10:06am. At this time, Chapman remains in jail on a combined $20,000 surety bond.
Angela Dawn Alexander
36 years old
Carmel Ridge Drive, Salem, SC
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 2 counts
Trafficking in Methamphetamine – 1 count
Alexander was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at around 11:55am. At this time, Alexander remains in jail pending a bond hearing.
Dallas Eugene Sayre
53 years old
Jimmy Nichols Drive, Walhalla, SC
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 2 counts
Trafficking of Methamphetamine – 1 count
Sayre was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at around 11:51am. Sayre was given a combined $90,000 on the three charges related to the drug round-up. Sayre was released from jail on an ankle monitor as a condition of bond.
Matthew George Maltby
37 years old
Goddard Avenue, Seneca, SC
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count
Maltby was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at around 12:23pm. At this time, Maltby remains in jail on a $35,000 surety bond.
Zachary Charles Rogers
39 years old
Burnt Tanyard Road – Salem, SC
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count
Rogers was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 12:10pm on Thursday, April 9th, 2026. At this time, Rogers remains in jail on a $35,000 surety bond.
Anthony Bradley Parker
51 years old
Flat Rock Road, Walhalla, SC
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count
Parker was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 2:19pm on Thursday, April 9th, 2026. At this time, Parker remains in jail on a $10,000 surety bond.
