Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Easley Man on First Degree Burglary Charge

(Walhalla, SC)————————————–The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Easley man on multiple charges last Friday, including a charge of First Degree Burglary.


41 year old Marshall Adam Race, of Fledging Way, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on October 28th around 11:22am. Race was transported from the Pickens County Detention Center to the Oconee County Detention Center and booked into jail on his charges.


Race was also charged, in the investigation, with one count each of Petit Larceny and Malicious Injury to Personal Property.


According to arrest warrants, Race entered a residence on Whitworth Drive near Seneca, during the night of October 26th, without consent of the property owner and with the intent to commit a crime. Race also is charged with damaging a venetian blind during the burglary and stealing a bottle of water from the victim.


Race was given a combined $154,000 surety bond on the three charges. Race was released from jail after posting bond and is being required to wear an electronic monitoring device, as a condition of being released, after posting bond.
