Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Man on 23 Arrest Warrants in Relation to Property Crime Investigation

(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------A Seneca man remains in jail today after his arrest last Friday afternoon on 23 arrest warrants related to a property crime investigation involving  break-ins and thefts from storage units.

 

42 year old Roman Christopher Greer was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on April 17th at around 12:37pm by a Deputy assigned to the Warrants Unit. 

 

In all, Greer was charged with 14 counts of Second Degree Burglary, four counts of Petit Larceny, two counts of Grand Larceny and two counts of Malicious Injury to Property. 

 

An Investigator assigned to the Property Crimes Unit of the Criminal Investigations Bureau conducted an investigation into the break-ins and thefts from storage units at an address on Ustorit Drive, which is off Old Clemson Highway near Seneca. 

 

Greer is charged with breaking into multiple storage units and stealing items from the storage units, which include money, a bicycle, clothing, and power tools and equipment.  Greer is also charged with cutting holes in the interior walls between the storage units, according to the arrest warrants.   

 

According to the arrest warrants, the crimes occurred between late 2025 and the winter and early spring of 2026. 

 

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.  Greer was given a $190,625 surety bond during an initial appearance before a Judge.
