(Walhalla, SC)-----------------The Oconee County Sheriff's Office E-911/Communications Center received word around mid-morning today that 82 year old George E. Lawson, who was reported to the Sheriff's Office yesterday evening, was located near an address on Old Greenville Highway by the Clemson University Police Department. According to information received by our dispatch, contact had been made with his family.
The Sheriff's Office would like to thank our law enforcement partners from the Clemson University Police Department for their assistance.
