(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------A Seneca man who was wanted on multiple charges, including a charge of Attempted Murder, was arrested this afternoon without incident.

22 year old Noah Brooks Brown was taken into custody after Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau of the Sheriff’s Office, and Officers from the Walhalla Police Department, responded to a location in Walhalla in relation to a Warrant Service.

Brown was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 2:21pm today.  Brown remains in jail, at this time, pending a bond hearing.

Brown was the subject of a news release on Tuesday evening as the Sheriff’s Office sought the public’s help in locating Brown.  Besides the Attempted Murder charge, Brown was also wanted on three counts of Pointing and Presenting a Firearm at a Person, two counts of Attempted Armed Robbery and one count of Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Violent Crime.

The charges against Brown were obtained as a result of an investigation into a shots fired call that occurred early Monday morning of this week near Townville.  According to information obtained during the investigation, Brown fired shots from a pistol into a vehicle that was occupied by three persons, one adult male and two adult females.

One of the rounds fired by Brown struck in the adult male, who was inside of the vehicle, in the leg.  The adult male was transported by paramedics to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

Brown is also charged with attempting to rob the victims inside of the vehicle as well as pointing the pistol he was brandishing at them.

Brown is the second person arrested in reference to the incident earlier this week in Townville.  22 year old Ezekiel Isaiah James Cheeks of Seneca was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center, at around 7:58pm, on Monday, November 24th.  Cheeks was charged with one count of Accessory before the Fact of a Felony.

At this time, Cheeks remains in jail on an $85,000 surety bond.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
