Nathan Fred McCall
(Walhalla, SC)————————————–A subject wanted on an Attempted Murder charge was arrested early this morning in the Cheohee Valley area of Tamassee.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that 47 year old Nathan Fred McCall was arrested around 4am today on Kimberly Drive. McCall was taken into custody by Fugitive Task Force agents from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
Investigators and Deputies worked yesterday, and in previous days with SLED agents, in the attempt to locate McCall.
The Sheriff’s Office charged McCall with one count of Attempted Murder after McCall fired a gun at an individual in an incident that occurred the night of April 8th. A round fired from the weapon struck a victim in the head. According to the arrest warrant, the incident occurred at an address on Little River Lane.
At this time, McCall remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center on a $250,000 surety bond. A hold has been placed on McCall by the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.
