(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing an additional arrest in the second drug round-up of 2022.
The Sheriff’s Office began the operation on Thursday, September 1st with a meeting and briefing at 9:00am at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla.
The Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants on 20 subjects. The arrest warrants were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office. Among the narcotics purchased during the controlled buys by undercover operatives were Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Heroin, LSD, and Ecstasy.
As of Noon today, ten individuals had been arrested so far and/or were already in jail and will or have been served their warrants. Here is the name of additional suspect arrested and their charges according to warrants:

Spearman was arrested by a School Resource Officer, without incident, in the parking lot of a school in Oconee County. Spearman was observed by the SRO, who knew that Spearman had outstanding arrest warrants. There was no danger to those inside the school or the public. Spearman was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 4:19pm.
At this time, Spearman remains in jail on a combined $25,000.00 surety bond.
